A feature film adaptation of the same-named debut novel from author Katsuse Masahiko, who has legions of fans in their teens and twenties. Versatile director Matsumoto Hana participated in {21st Century Girl}, which Yamato U-ki developed and produced.
The protagonist is a guy (Kitamura Takumi) who falls in love with a girl (Kuroshima Yuina) he meets at a boring party just before graduating from college. She makes his life feel fulfilled, but he is distressed by the gap between his ideals and the reality he faces at work.
