Tomoyo is worried about the future because of one thing. When Torako tells Tomoyo how much it will cost for Takashi to graduate from college, Tomoyo is disappointed to learn that the amount is more than she expected. Torako then advises her to consult with Mitsuo. However, Tomoyo, offended by the way Mitsuo and his mother-in-law are excited about their plan to take Takashi away, refuses help from Mitsuo.
