Under the motto “I only want it easy,” Tsuyu Mendou, a laid-back office worker, has been cooking easy meals with mentsuyu every day. On the other hand, Iriko Togoshi, the president’s secretary who joined the company in the same year as Tsuyu, is an excellent cook who never cuts corners and is very meticulous. One day, while Tsuyu was cooking a mentsuyu dish at home as usual, Iriko suddenly appeared before her and started to criticize her cooking. This was Tsuyu’s “Inner Mrs. Togoshi” created by her sense of guilt about cutting corners in her cooking.
